Founder

Adam Dickens.

Founder of RocSite. Two decades at IBM, an IBM Certified Architect. This is how I got here, and what I'm building now.

A kid with a Commodore 64.

I was eight years old when I started running yard sales to save up for a Commodore 64. When I bought it, I taught myself to program on it. I kept teaching myself through high school and never stopped.

The long way up.

I worked the kinds of jobs that don't show up on technology résumés, and the discipline I learned in them turned out to be the kind that does. Kodak gave me my first chance in IT. After that came Delphi Automotive, Xerox, and Johnson & Johnson. In 2007 I architected petabyte-scale media systems at a time when most companies were still measuring in terabytes. Then twenty-one years at IBM, where I ended as an IBM Certified Architect, validated through Open Group certification.

It was a long path. None of it was given to me.

The brokerage.

While I was still at IBM, I built and ran a real estate brokerage. We sold over two hundred homes in three years across North Carolina and New York, more than most agents sell in a lifetime. The clients trusted us with relationships that depended on discretion. We were good at it.

I chose medical AI safety as one of my new chapters in life.

I made a decision about the rest of my career. I had thirty years of experience across enterprise systems, regulated industries, and complex-trust relationships. I had learned how to write methodology that survives review, how to design systems that produce receipts, and how to lock a hypothesis before looking at the data. I had time, capability, and a reason to use both.

I picked medical AI safety because the field is producing predictions that are treated as evidence, and most of those predictions have never been adversarially tested by anyone with skin in the game. I knew how to do that. I also knew that bootstrapping a regulated AI company at this stage of life was going to be slow and unpopular. That was fine.

What's running now.

RocSite, Inc. Delaware C-Corporation. I've been operating businesses since 2018; RocSite was established in 2022 when the clinical AI validation work became the focus. Bootstrapped. No outside capital. A small team that ships.

ICH Triage received an FDA Pre-Submission acceptance in January 2026 on the Class II SaMD pathway. Working ICU physicians have run the demo and exhausted their trial allocations in single sessions. AI Governor is at v1 with 21 active modalities: 19 deterministic clinical scoring specialists plus chest X-ray and head CT vision pipelines, purpose-built for the FDA-regulated AI vendors and institutions that need it. Caliper is live in production at RocSite Discovery: adversarial pharmacovigilance using FAERS disproportionality math, with a signed, public ledger of findings.

The methodology foundation is the sepsis falsification study, 286,510 ICU patients across MIMIC-IV and eICU-CRD, pre-registered before any data access, with the hypothesis locked. The methodology was reviewed by an established sepsis informatics researcher in connection with my MIMIC credentialed access. The primary cohort returned a null result against my own hypothesis. I published it anyway.

That last sentence is the company. We pre-register. We lock the hypothesis. We publish the result regardless of direction. Everything else flows from that discipline.

How I work.

I read every email myself. I sign every claim on this site to a verifiable artifact, and if you find a claim that isn't, write to me and I'll correct it. Whatever you've heard about how startups operate, that isn't how this one operates.

I'm not trying to look like anything other than what I am, a technical operator with thirty years of accumulated capability, building the next thing in his life, with the discipline of someone who has nothing left to prove.
